IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you:
Federal law requires us to obtain, verify, and record information that identities each person that opens an account. When you open an account we will ask for your name, address, date of birth,(online applicants must be at least 18 years of age. If one or more applicants are under 18, please visit a branch to open your account) and other information that will allow us to identify you. During the account application process, we will also ask you to verify your identity by providing additional information that is distinct to you and your financial history. This additional information is checked against public records, other financial institutions and consumer reporting agencies.
If you are unable to fully complete your application, you will be provided a confirmation number to access your application.
Please retain this information as it is required to access your application.
